Welcome to the Mental Health Association of Central Carolinas, Inc.!
It is estimated that one in five Americans experience diagnosable mental disorders each year, many not getting the help they need.
Therefore, it is the mission of the Mental Health Association of Central Carolinas, Inc. (MHA) to promote mental wellness through advocacy, prevention, and education.
The MHA's vision is to promote mental wellness, to reduce stigma, and to advocate for effective mental health services.
"Few Americans are untouched by mental illness,
whether it occurs within one's family or among neighbors, co-workers, or members of the community." |
- Dr. David Satcher
