In an effort to improve access to mental health care in the Central Carolinas, Mental Health Association (MHA) provides an on-line directory of local mental health care providers. Practitioners, group practices and hospitals listed are members of MHA's directory, and MHA has verified that members have current certification/licensure and liability insurance. It is the responsibility of consumers to make informed decisions regarding their choice of mental health care providers.

Inpatient Services & Programs:
The Behavioral Health Center at CMC-Randolph's inpatient services include crisis stabilization, separate units for children and adolescents, a 24-hour call center, and 24-hour psychiatric emergency care.

Outpatient Services & Programs:
Outpatient care ranges from partial hospitalization to intense outpatient therapies, medication monitoring, and school programming. (Call center counselors are available at 704-444-2400 or 1-800-418-2065.)

Adolescent, Adult, Child, Family, Geriatric

Special Services:
Treatment is available for all mental health disorders/problems. Services can be covered by insurance, Medicaid and Medicare, and they participate in managed healtcare networks. A sliding scale fees for services is offered. English and Spanish speaking employees; interpreter services available.

40 Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Beds 20 Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Beds

Outpatient Services & Programs:
Partial Hospitalization Program for Children and Adolescents Intensive Outpatient Program for Adults (ages 18 and above)

Adolescent, Adult, Child, Family, Geriatric

Special Services:
ACCESS: 24 hour screening and referral services, call 704.384.4255. Psychiatric and dual diagnosis (mental health and substance abuse). Psychiatric units located within medical hospital. Short-term acute care facility with recovery model focus. Interpreting services available.
