MHA's Featured Group Practice is The Blanchard Institute

Treating addiction and mental health is a journey that goes far beyond simply stopping the use of drugs and alcohol. For a successful, long-term recovery, it is important to heal the mind, body, and spirit, as well as the disease of addiction itself. This includes paying special attention to nutrition, exercise, mental health, emotional well-being, behavior, and more.

The Blanchard Institute believes that people can and do recover, everyone deserves the chance to recover, and that includes family members and loved ones.  Their Family Program is designed to teach families how to eliminate codependent behaviors, recreate healthy boundaries, and maintain open communication with family members.  Families learn these skills by participating in multi-family groups, interactive classes, and educational lectures. The Blanchard Institute's Family Programs emphasize early recovery issues and give participants the opportunity to share their feelings and experiences with others in a safe and supportive environment.

At The Blanchard Institute, they use an integrative health treatment model in all their addiction recovery and substance use disorder treatment programs, taking a holistic approach to addiction recovery that helps to treat not only the disease, but also the underlying physical, mental, and emotional factors that contribute to it. They feature a wide range of outpatient addiction and mental health treatment services with a dedicated team of caring professionals that are committed to helping their clients through every step of the treatment process.
