MHA's Featured Group Practice is Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services

Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services, located on a beautiful 16-acre campus in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, specializes in psychiatric treatment for adolescents and adults. The adult programs include a new Trauma Recovery Program, Dual Diagnosis, Seniors, general psychiatric and outpatient services. This summer Old Vineyard added an expansion with the new trauma program, additional dual diagnosis and adolescent beds for a total capacity of 164 beds.  The facility provides a relaxing, comforting environment to its patients with access to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, recreation therapy, pet therapy and outdoor courtyards.  Family involvement and community provider collaboration is encouraged.

Each patient has a dedicated treatment team with a psychiatrist, therapist, and nurse to serve patients with compassion and the highest quality of care. With a variety of programs available, Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services is able to improve the lives of individuals with various mental health challenges.  

Their newest program, Trauma Recovery, is a holistic approach focusing on Stress and Symptom Management, Emotion Regulation, Thought Distortion, and Self-Esteem.  The first dedicated trauma program in NC is designed for adults who have experienced physical, emotional, or sexual trauma.  All therapists have a certificate in trauma therapy and all staff have sensitivity training on trauma.

Offering outpatient services (with Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs). Old Vineyard offers adults a continuum of care. For individuals and families outside of Forsyth County, Old Vineyard will provide a referral to The Ronald McDonald House and SECU Family House for lodging.

Old Vineyard's treatment programs are eligible for coverage under most major insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, TRICARE®, Magellan, Cigna, Aetna, Humana, Medicare and most other plans.  They also accept Medicaid for teens ages 12-20.
