Suicide Prevention Film
The MHA was one of Area Mental Health's partners, along with Mecklenburg County Health Dept. and Public Service & Information, as they produced the suicide prevention film, "This Will Pass:  Suicide Prevention."  Click below to view this impactful video (approx. 15 min.)

The MHA has five staff certified in QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) suicide prevention training, and two are now certified in ASIST (Applied Suicide Prevention Skills Training.)  QPR can be offered in 1-2 hours for groups, while ASIST is an intensive 2-day training.  Call our office to schedule a training at 704-365-4380.
